eewww, yuck!

Wish you could see how NOT thrilled he was with having his hand licked. He knew this was a real cow and kept "moo-ing".

Farm Country

at Thanksgiving Point was a HUGE hit! This was ouf first trip to Farm Country at TP and Max was in heaven. We read stories and make animal sounds but he got to hear the real thing and loved it.
Boy do goats stink, but this one sure liked Max. Just his size. He ran right in to explore.

Cow licking Max's fingers

checking out the turkeys.

He was busy roaming around, needless to say.... he was in hog heaven!

Daddy....

Please cut my Hair!

Naughty!

I was blow drying my hair this morning and Max left the room. I thought that he would be okay since I put away all the cords, but boy was I wrong. I went to find him thinking he might be looking out the window (one of his favorite spots next to plugging in the fan) into the office I went and this is what I found....

On top of the computer and into all my papers.

That better not be my Credit Card.

He was so proud of himself. He scooted the stool over because he knows that the computer has fun buttons.

The Artist

We are still working on decorating our house (I don’t think we will ever finish). Repainting the WHOLE house is our next big project since the wallpaper is almost down. Max's room was first. It has been painted so now to the decorating. Clu had this great idea to let Max paint canvases for his room!

the fun begins
Clu helped Max get the hang of it and he was off to

painting a masterpiece (I am not sure if Clu’s pants were included in the masterpiece but they we sure covered).

smartie pants

Little Max is such a smartie pants (even the Dr. told us so). He loves to sign, and learns them very quickly. It is so nice to be able to use them to communicate with him. One of his favorite signs is "Light". He is so intrigued by them. If you go anywhere with him he will stop and point out the light and won't let you go until you have acknowledged the light.

LP

I forgot how much I LOVE Lake Powell! Max and I (Clu had to work) went to Lake Powell last month with my extended family. It was very hot but the rain, food and company made up for it. I wish we could’ve stayed longer (if Max would’ve slept at night). One night I tried to get Max to go to sleep, but he just cried and cried. Finally my dad came over from the boat (they slept on their boat instead of the house boat) and took Max. Not 5 minutes later, Max was out! Papa sure has the touch.
We left a little early and so we missed going to Rainbow Bridge and cliff jumping. Two things that I really wanted to do. I guess I have a reason to go back next year (other than the fact that Max loved it..the water and family part).

Papa, John and the little kids (cousins and nieces) playing "King of the Hill"

Chloe was crying and crying then all of a sudden it was quiet.
She must've been hot and found my wet suit because she curled up with it.

Papa, Chloe and Max with their hats

The "singles" (Britt and I came without our hubbies...maybe this will show
them how much fun we had and they will come next year) with the babes.

Max and mom (we were faithful with the hats and sunscreen - no sunburns this trip)

Playin' in the dirt (this pic is for Uncle Zac.. he insists that we make sure Max knows how to play in the "dirt", nuf'' said).

Getting ready to "lube" up.

Meg, Britt and Lysi tubin'

Sisters (Emma & Lyv) before bed

Max & Marcus on Glowstick night (Max got the bink cause Nanny spoils him!) Marcus is showing Max the glowstick.

Britt and Girls with glowsticks in the water

Almost the whole familia. I guess I will have to try and go to Rainbow next year.

Cliffjumping...Greyson, Brayden and Marcus (wish I was jumping too)!

Marcus, Casey & Lysi on the Hot Dog

** Disclaimer: I know we don't look our best, but that is part of the whole LP experience. These picutres are to remember the great time that we had, not how great we looked. So enjoy us at our not so very best.

Look what I found!

Going through some of Clu's old boxes, I found a picture of Clu as a baby. It is pretty scratched up, but couldn't wait to share it.
Do they look like each other?
P.S. We are almost unpacked but still settling. We have had a wonderful month full of fun vacations. I will post them soon! Just have to find my camera.
