Sleepy Head

I went in to check on Max while he was sleeping and this is what I found... He slid out of his blanket. He has to sleep on a special pillow to prop him up because he has been diagnosed with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease ) he has started medication and it has made a world of difference (thanks for all the help and advice Erika).

He likes to be wrapped up tight like a burrito and has slide out of his little wrap.

It didn't bother him, he was out!

St. George here we come....

We are leaving for St. George tomorrow, well just Max and me (Clu has to stay and earn the big bucks). I am so EXCITED (Max is excited too)! I can't wait for everyone to see how much Max has grown. We are going to have a blast, sorry Clu. Then next week Clu will join us and we are headed to Window Rock. A long ride, but will be a lot of fun to see Clu's other family. Many wonderful pictures and stories to follow!

Official Infant

As of today, little Max will be an infant, he is three months old! My how time flies when you are having fun. Max is growing so fast and learning/discovering new things every day. It seems like every morning I wake up to Max looking just a little bigger and a little different.
Max loves...to stand, smile, play with daddy, kick his legs, play with his baby wipe bag, baths, talking, mommy and max daily walks and has just recently rolled over.
He hates...
to wait to eat (he is not patient, wonder where he gets that from), his nose cleaned out, daddy burping, his fingernails clipped, and losing his binky.

I am so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and to watch Max grow! Thanks, Clu for allowing me this SPECIAL GIFT!!!!

Tummy Time

Max normally hates tummy time, but not today (I guess he thought it was better than taking his nap). This was such a surprise, maybe he will like tummy time for now on.
(Don't you love that hair). He was so happy and even rolled over! He let out a big sigh of relief
when he finally got to his back. Go little Max! (I don't think it was on purpose, but was sure fun to watch!)
Another great reason why I love being a stay at home mom!

Go Utes!

Football season is almost upon us (Clu has already started watching re-runs from last season). I thought that in order to get ready we needed to post a couple of pictures with our newest little "ute fan".
(Max is saying GO UTES!)
Clu doesn't like Max to watch TV, but I am sure that he will let him watch football games. I can just see the two of them on saturday afternoons laying on the couch with chips and a diet coke (it reminds me of my dad with Zac as a baby). Let the Games begin...it means nap time for mom...wahoo!(Max is ready, bring on the Games, but no soda pop for him...Milk please)

Happy Birthday Lee & Tia!

Uncle Lee and Aunt Tia came to visit today. They came up for a hot air ballon ride in Heber (which they would reccommend) and stopped by on their way out of town.
It was so fun to visit and see them. Max loved showing off his tricks.

Max is telling Tia a big story

Max is showing Uncle Lee that he LOVES to stand (no sitting please)!

P.S. Happy Birthday to both Tia and Lee!!!

White Boy

The doctor suggested that we put baby powder under Max's chin because he sweats a lot and gets heat rash really bad there.
I guess I put a little too much on.

Accidents happen...

This past week, Clu and I went on a double date with my brother Marcus. While we were eating dinner I left to feed Max. I came back about 10 minutes later and sat down with Max. All of a sudden I feel my hand getting really warm. I look at it and it has poop on it so I turn Max to check him and poop runs out on to my pants! Clu immediately picks up Max and takes him outside and I am left to try and clean up the mess all over me! It is down the front of my pants so I look like I have had a little accident myself. I tried my best to wipe it off because... the date is not over, I got to go miniature golfing with poop down the front of me. Thank goodness for green shorts.
Oh what memories we have to share! Who would've thought that I needed to pack myself an extra outfit.

(Marcus - You can thank us later for helping to make a great first impression with Teri.)

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

I saw this little face peeking out of this towel and thought it was so cute! Max is finally starting to like the bath. Before, he would scream the whole time and now he talks and kicks. It is so fun to watch him grow and progress!
I LOVE BEING A MOM...today anyway.

Look at this cute little face peeking out of the towel.

M & M after bath time.

Mr. Serious. Bath time is serious business.

How could you not love this little face!
