First Cold

Little Max is sick. He has his first cold. It is so sad, he can't breathe, eat or sleep. Any tips or advice? I would really appreciate it!

Naked Time

Yes, you read it right; Max gets naked time (I am sure you are jealous). It is one of his favorite things. He smiles and talks and kicks like crazy.

I would post the video, but it might be inappropriate. Thanks for the tee-pee pee-pee, Deb

Flashlight

Clu took a flashlight and wrote this. I don't know how he figures these things out, but I thought it was pretty cool.

"The 7 Year Itch"

Or FAR FROM IT!!!!
Happy Anniversary!

July 21st is our 7th Anniversary - I can't believe how time flies when you are having fun.

Just a few reasons why I LOVE CLU:

1- Clu is always willing to help. If something is broken, we all know to call Clu. According to his niece, Vanessa "Clu can fix it, he can fix anything."

2- He is always serving. He see something that needs to be done and he just does it, just a couple of weeks ago while we were in Pine Valley Clu mowed the lawn because he knew it needed to be done and didn’t think my dad would have time to do it.

3- Clu has a heart of GOLF (really GOLD) but golf too. No matter what someone has done, Clu always forgives and when he forgives he truly forgets.

4 - He is a family man. Just this morning (when we should be getting ready for church) Clu is playing on the bed with Max, making him talk and smile. Clu never misses a moment that could be spent with family. To Clu, Family is the most important.

5- Clu is so supportive. He has been my biggest cheerleader getting through school. He would help me study and even tutored me through statistics!

6 - Clu loves me for me, all of my flaws and imperfections, he accepts and loves me.

7 - His Laugh. He has this wonderful deep belly laugh that feels the room and makes everyone laugh with him.

8 - Clu is a teaser. He is always teasing and joking around. It makes life more fun and keeps things lighthearted.

Clu:
When you asked me to marry you, I knew that we would be happy together, but I never could've imagined we would be this happy! We have had so many FUN adventures from Africa to Albuquerque and everywhere in between - late nights at the gym and early morning classes. It is always a party when I am with you. You make life enjoyable. We have lived in many different places (8 to be exact) and have been happy in everyone. No matter where we live, I know that we will be happy because we have each other and now our little family! You are a wonderful father and such a support to me! You were my best cheerleader to help get me through school (especially math); I couldn't have done it without you! I know that we can do anything because we have each other! I LOVE YOU and can't wait for eternity!!
Love, Meg

Story-time

Every night we read Max two stories, one is a random book from the book nook and the other is always Good Night Moon. We have read this book to him since I was about 4 months pregnant. Tonight, Clu was reading him the story and he spit out his binky and started smiling, cooing, laughing, and kicking his legs. It was so cute that I needed a picture! He just loved hearing his dad read the story and point to the pictures. Dad has gotten really creative at reading this story since he has it memorized. He uses fun voices and noises. Thanks for the book Nana Deb, it is being put to good use.

Party Pooper

The "Magic Reindeer" (see Nanny & Papa's post) gave Max a little onsie that says "Party Pooper". He is so deserving of this. My mom even says that "he is the poopen-est" baby she has ever seen. He sure likes to fill his pants, so now he has a shirt that says it.

Thanks magic reindeer.

Max's Blessing

This was such a special occasion! We blessed Max on July 6th, 2008 in the St. George 3rd ward (my parents ward, where my dad is bishop). Clu gave Max such a sweet and special blessing I was in tears the whole time (must be first time mom thing). Thanks Clu, Max has such a wonderful father to look up to and be like!

Thank you to all who came and supported and took part. He had almost all his family there (we missed you G & D and boys - Garrett you need to work harder on the swimming, I thought you would've made it by now)! It meant A LOT to have ALL of YOU there!
Our little family on the big day!

Nanny & Papa's

This past week, Max and I went to St. George a couple of days earlier than Clu so that Max and I could spend time with family. Of course, they can't get enough of him. He is definitely spoiled! We spent mornings out on the porch and Max had many naps with Papa (which grandpa LOVED!). We had a great time, I helped my mom pack up her kitchen and part of the house (they are remodeling) and then we went to the annual Jeannie and Greg Snow Family Reunion and to the Stucki 4th of July party. Lots of fun and plenty of arms to smother Max with love! We had a blast and miss you already!

Papa and Max out front (Max loves to look at Papa's hat)

Bath time at Nanny & Papa's - He is finally starting to like the bath and not screaming the whole time. Nanny must have the touch!

- SNOW 4th OF JULY PARTY -

The treasure hunt with all of the kids. I was in charge of it and it was way too fun! I LOVED watching the excitment of finding the clues. All the kids were so good about taking turns! Kudos to the mothers, you can tell they have all been taught well.

Max and Nana Deb - Max was part of the treasure hunt. The kids loved that, they thought it was pretty funny.

Relaxin' - that is what this reunion is all about. Clu and I look forward to it every year, we get to go to Pine Valley, sit, visit and eat GREAT food. Thanks Alicia for the great sugar cookies! I think those are the best I have ever had! Nana Deb & Perry - Thanks for hosting the party at your cabin - we know you worked like dogs to get it ready - As you can tell, we all enjoyed it!

- STUCKI 4th OF JULY PARTY -

We were also in Pine Valley for this party. We spent it with all of my family, except Zac (he is on the work crew at the Hill Comorah Pageant). Once again we ate good food and visited. We played croquet and spent the night at the cabin. I think my favorite was waking up early in the mornig to hear that little Lyvie (who is 2) got up at about 4am and went outside! She wanted to play with the toys that were outside. Tom & Britt, have fun when she is a teenager, she is already sneeking out. Another part that I loved was having the "Magic Reindeer" come. It is a family tradition and the little girls thought it was pretty cool (the deer brings surprises and leaves them by a tree - what can be better than that).

Way too much fun with the parties and reunions! It wore the boys out.

Thanks again to everyone!!! As always, It was a trip to remember!
