Tie

I asked Max if he wanted to wear his tie or a polo to church (we know what his dad would choose, but he doesn't get a choice). He said "tie" and this is how he wanted to wear it.After a little coaxing we got this:and after dumping the baby powder all over the floor while mom was getting ready, he got to do this:All before church, oh what a fun day it turned out to be.

home again, home again, jiggity jig

Max and I have spent the last two weeks in SUNNY SG (Clu joined us for the last couple of days). The days were spent...

1. Playing outside,in the pool and with the hose.

2. Cooking & making dehydrated fruit (love the apron? It was my brother Tom's. It is almost 30 years old! Max loved wearing it).

3. Visiting family.
4. preparing for Tia's shower (A seperate post).
5. getting sick: Max got a Ear & throat infection, with a stomach bug (that he shared with me).
6. falling to get a big goose egg
7. Soda's & bubbles with G&G E
8. Pedi's with the girls
After such a long trip, Max was glad to be home. This morning I said shall we go to the store today? Max answered "No, home, toys." Nuff said.

Jumping=fun

Last Monday night we were making cookies, but Max saw the kids next door jumping on the trampoline and he really, REALLY wanted to jump. He first wanted to go "side" or outside and so we let him go, then he ran to the edge of the fence and was peeking between the two fences to see them jump. For the next 1o minutes he would go back and forth and would come and say jump "peese, peese" and would run back out the door like he was going to miss something. So, finally (at 7:30) Clu decided that we would take him jumping (no, the cookies weren't done, we just put the dough in the fridge) and off we went. The jumping place wasn't far from our house and Max was free! He LOVED it and for days after kept saying "jumping...fun".
