Hit da' Ball

Chef Clu

After almost 9 years of hoping for a grill Clu finally has one. He has been putting it to good use and I am SO thanksful for his cooking and the grill! Max is also a good help while grillin'.

Couldn't resist...

a trip to SG to see this little guy!I could snuggle him all day long! He is two weeks old (in the pic) and an angel - my sister totally deserves!

While we were there Nanny took Max to the store to get Woody and Buzz (from Toy Story) because he is a “Big Boy”! He no longer has a binky (if you tell him he is a big boy he will tell you "no more binkies"). So Nanny thought he needed Buzz and Woody since he has become infatuated with them. It made her day when they were at the store and he gave the toy (in the box) a big squeeze. He has played with them non-stop as well as imitate what Andy does with them on Toy Story. She has been busy because she also made him a cape to wear. He wasn’t too sure about it at first until I told him it was like “Super Grover” from Sesame Street and then he decided he would like to wear it. So here he is playing with Buzz and Woody wearing his “Super Grover” cape. A trip to SG wouldn't be complete without Max watching the dogs sleep

Award

This past couple of weeks I have been doing an excellent job at winning worst mother of the year award:
1. Max and I caught a cold and so I have laid around amid blowing and wiping noses
2. Then I got sick again, feeling like death I didn't get off the couch
3. I haven't made a good dinner in awhile
4. My house needs a good cleaning
5. The laundry needs to be done
6. Have I mentioned I have a pile of ironing to do.
7. (best of all) Max is outside playing NAKED! Everybody needs that experience right?!?!

Don't you play football like that?

p.s. pictures are pre full nakedness

Xav's

Tia & Lee had little Xavi Lee Black June 1, 2010 at about 9:30 pm, 7lbs 9ozs. I am so sad that I don't get to go and see him yet.

Can't wait to give this guy a sqeeze!

Butch

I mentioned to Clu that Max might need a short haircut this summer. He has so much thick hair which makes his head really hot and sweaty. The next thing I knew I came home for Enrichment and found Max looking like this:

Long or short he is still the cutest guy around.

Window Rock

We spent this past weekend down on the reservation with Clu's family. It was nice to see everyone and to be able to spend time with them. The kids had a blast playing together. I wish I had pictures to show but I kept forgeting my camera in the hotel room. Here are a couple from the long trip.
Max sporting the sunlgasses again (trying to open the door). The little stinker could sneak out of the room.
After a long time in the car we decided to get out for a bit and go to the Arches Museum. He ran non-stop for over an hour.

Annual yard work

This has become an annual event, to clean up my parents yard. They love having the family together and getting the yard work done. After the work was done we celebrated brithdays with cake (and olives).

Tom is a little too excited to be using the chainsaw. Nanny took the kids for Icees which kept them all happy.

Lyvie always needs a bag to carry her things in. Nanny to the rescue...she has plenty of baskets to do the job.

Dad, Marcus and Tia* working hard

Clu trimming the bushes. The yard looked so nice when we were done.

Lunch time! After all the hard work we headed in for a yummy lunch and cake (plus birthday prensents). The kids were so excited to give Max his gift. So much fun to watch all of them.

*Tia had such a cute belly, but it is gone! Little Xavi was born yesterday night!

Tune in next year for the next installment of the annual Stucki Yard clean-up.
