Family Time!

This past weekend we had two of Clu's brothers in town. Riley, Erika and their two boys were visiting from St. George and Garrett visiting from Japan (we missed you Dayna and boys) was just stopping in on his way to Virgina for meetings. It was great to have more family around for the weekend! Clu went to the BYU game with his brothers, sister-in-law and dad and then we all got together to visit afterwards. Max got to play with his cousins.
It was so fun to watch this all go down. I think that Taite was having more fun than Max, but I am sure Taite will teach him the tricks. Taite is such a helper! He would take Max's binky and play with it and then give it back. It was so funny!

Team work! They finally got it! They had been trying for sometime to get the binky in the mouth!

5 Months and counting!

Max is now FIVE months! Where does the time go! He is growing so fast and doing so well!
He loves: to eat apples and bananas, play with dad, to be tickled, his binky, to stand, kick his legs, listen to the leaves crunch underfeet, and to talk on the phone.

He hates: to have his face wiped, to wait to eat, to be put in his carseat (he is fine once he is in), Daddy sneezing, Mommy coughing, and getting his diaper changed.
He can now: roll front to back and back to front, pivot and also scoot (just a little).
He is such a busy little boy (like his dad). We love all his energy!

Witch Hunting

Every year the Gardner Village in South Jordan decorates with a Halloween/Witches theme.

I thought that it would be fun to take Max. I know that he is too little to really understand, but he loves to watch people and I thought that he could at least do that. Clu and I were more excited about the Christmas ornaments in the stores than the Halloween, but it was a great family outing. We love to be together!

Max LOVES to play with his dad!

I caught Max doing this and couldn't resist a picture!

I hope they call me on a mission...

...when I have grown a foot or two. My little brother Zac has definately grown and not only in stature, so I guess it is fitting that they have called him on a mission. Zac is going to the Taiwan, Taichung mission (speaking Mandarin). That is definitely not where Clu and I thought he would go. I thought he would go to somewhere like Finland, and Clu said he was going to the North Pole to convert Santa himself.

Zac: We are so proud of you and the choices that you have made. You are a great example to little Max and all those around you. We will miss you, but I am glad to have my room back at Fran and Wayne's (even if it is only for two years). Go forth to Serve!
(Zac as the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz - October 2007)
I can't believe that this kid is old enough to be a missionary!

Max was shot!

Today was shots day at our house. Max was a little behind on shots (because he was sick for his two month shots). Today he received his four months shots and was a real tropper! He only cried while the nurse gave the shots and then he was done. He has been very happy inspite of his "battle/war wounds". Bring it on - I am a tough guy! Your turn Grandpa Snow!

Toes anyone?

Max has found his feet...need I say anymore.

Fall chill

Fall is in the air and thanks to Grandma and Nanny Max is ready. Nanny hooked Max up with a great pair of snow bibs and a 4in1 winter coat (just like daddy's) and Grandma Snow made him this hat (she has such a talent! Max has another hat and sweater on the way). This kid loves his bink!

Do we look a like?

Cool Dude!

"Check out my cool chair, dude!" Max loves to sit in his little chair, thanks to Clu's brothers and sisters, Max has this great chair!

Visit to Physical Therapy

Today was our second visit to Physical Therapy and it went really well. Max is doing much better with his torticollis, rolling and tummy time. We just love our cute Physical Therapist Mary. She has given us some great advice. We found out that Max is right on target developmentally and even a little ahead in some areas (I know you aren't surprised...he is such a smartie). We go back in two weeks to check on the progress (they say at this age some children regress because of a growth spurt). Mary said that he is the busiest little boy she has right now. Oh no! I am in big trouble, she said that he is very active and is trying hard to become mobile. I am NOT ready for that one! I think that I am going to have my hands full with this guy. Sorry no pictures (this great mom forgot the camera...nothing new).

Side Note: Today Max had the BIGGEST blowout EVER! It was coming out everywhere (thank goodness we were at home. It was all the way up his back and the front and out the legs. I think that his outfit might be stained for good. All I could do was laugh. I wish that I had an extra set of hands to get a picture of it.

My bright eyed boy...This little mom is LOVING life!

Then & Now

I just can't believe how time flies! Max is doing so well. He is rolling back to front and front to back. He is working hard at his physical therapy and being a good little boy. The latest and greatest are his feet. He loves to play with his feet and visit with you while he is doing so. I put him in this sleeper for bed the other night and couldn't believe that just a few shorts months ago he came home from the hospital in the same outfit. I took a picture to compare.

What do you think?
