Grandma Snow the drug dealer
According to Grandpa Snow, Grandma Snow is an excellent drug dealer...her drug of choice is knitting. This past weekend, I found out how TRUE that is! Phyllis was kind enough to teach me how to knit and I am HOOKED! We started on Saturday night and I took the project home and finished it the same night. I was so sad because the next day Max was not cooperating and I had to wait until Monday for her to teach me how to start my next project. Once Max got up on Monday morning, the first thing I did was call Phyllis to see what time I she could give me my next lesson. Not only did I get my wonderful lesson, but we were able to hit some of the yarn stores so I could stalk up for the next projects. Phyllis, thanks for the drugs...I will be back for more very soon - keep them coming!
Steve took this picture of me with my first finished project.

Happy half Birthday
Max is now 6 months old! I can't even believe it! We had our doctors appointment and found that he is growing taller but not fatter (the doctor said it was partly due to his restricted diet prescribed). Max jumped from the 45th to the 75th percentile for height (I know that he gets that from his grandpa snow) and went from the 18th to the 11th percentile for weight.
For his half birthday present we got him a snow globe just his size. His favorite part about the globe is that he can put it in his mouth.

New Adventures here we come!
Clu has accepted a postion with Gold Point Systems/FPS Gold which are both subsidiaries of DHI Computing Services located in Provo, Utah; as a Lending/Accounting Conversion Analyst...(don't ask me what he does - I have no idea) I just want him to enjoy it and bring home a paycheck. We will be moving closer to Provo (we are thinking Draper-ish area) so his commute will be shorter. He will begin on November 25th, but we won't be moving for a couple of months. We are really excited to start this new adventure. If you are interested, this is some background on the company: Gold Point Systems and FPS Gold.

my little graduate
Max has officially graduated from Physical Therapy (he even got a certificate). We will miss our sweet and very helpful physical therapist, Mary; but we are glad that Max no longer has torticollis and is "thriving".
Thanks Mary!

Rewind
Lets travel back in time about 20 years and this is what we would find Clu doing... if we want to go back 30 years this is what we would find.... Steve, Phyllis & Eric Grandpa Snow, Perry & Paul
We can go a couple more years and you would see this... Ann, Phyllis & Charlene
Clu and I have been scanning all of Steve and Phyllis' old slides onto the computer. It has been a real treat to see all the fun and wonderful pictures

Early Christmas
Nanny & Papa found this nativity about a month ago and couldn't wait to give it to Max. They know how much we love Christmas and that we would be decorating for Christmas already and so in the mail it went. It arrived yesterday. I am sure that Max wasn't as excited about opening the box as I was (I love boxes from the UPS man - he always brings great things!), but once he saw the picture on the box (inside the box) he was mesmerized. He kept grabbing at the box. Max loves to eat all the people and animals. There are so many pieces for him to enjoy.I am sure in a couple of years he will be playing with it in a different way. Probably throwing the animals instead of eating them.
Thanks for the early christmas gift! We ALL love it!
Toe jam anyone?
Max has now figured out that he can stick his foot in his mouth. Don't we all wish we were still that limber. He thought it tasted pretty good.

Grandpa "moose" love me
Grandpa Snow bought this moose for Max while he was on business in Colorado. Max was thrilled, he thinks the ears are pretty tasty. Thanks Grandpa
P.S. He also loves his Guitar Hero

"Softie"
Last time we were in St. George my mom and I made this blanket for Max. He loves the softness of it. When he gets tired and ready for his nap, he snuggles his head right down into it. He has a couple of other "softie's" (as Clu would say), but this one is big enough that he can roll and snuggle with. Thanks Mom!!!
This little guy MELTS my HEART!!!!

Trick-or-Treat
Our first Halloween...of course, we went all out. Max was the cutest little teddy bear and went traipsing all over and was a star about the whole thing. He smiled and laughed right on cue. We started on Thursday night by stopping by Clu's parent's house where Max got his first REAL treat, a sugar cookie (good thing mom ate it so he could have a little taste later on) in exchange for some of his new tricks i.e. rolling all over the place.

Then on Halloween we stopped by some of the older women in our ward, then it was off to Clu's work. After a nice little nap we went to the hospital to visit Clu's cousin, Heather.
"Rrraaarrrr" Clu is showing Max the sound of a bear.

Family Time!
This past weekend we had two of Clu's brothers in town. Riley, Erika and their two boys were visiting from St. George and Garrett visiting from Japan (we missed you Dayna and boys) was just stopping in on his way to Virgina for meetings. It was great to have more family around for the weekend! Clu went to the BYU game with his brothers, sister-in-law and dad and then we all got together to visit afterwards. Max got to play with his cousins.
It was so fun to watch this all go down. I think that Taite was having more fun than Max, but I am sure Taite will teach him the tricks. Taite is such a helper! He would take Max's binky and play with it and then give it back. It was so funny!
Team work! They finally got it! They had been trying for sometime to get the binky in the mouth!

5 Months and counting!
Max is now FIVE months! Where does the time go! He is growing so fast and doing so well!
He loves: to eat apples and bananas, play with dad, to be tickled, his binky, to stand, kick his legs, listen to the leaves crunch underfeet, and to talk on the phone.
He hates: to have his face wiped, to wait to eat, to be put in his carseat (he is fine once he is in), Daddy sneezing, Mommy coughing, and getting his diaper changed.
He can now: roll front to back and back to front, pivot and also scoot (just a little).
He is such a busy little boy (like his dad). We love all his energy!
Witch Hunting
Every year the Gardner Village in South Jordan decorates with a Halloween/Witches theme.
I thought that it would be fun to take Max. I know that he is too little to really understand, but he loves to watch people and I thought that he could at least do that. Clu and I were more excited about the Christmas ornaments in the stores than the Halloween, but it was a great family outing. We love to be together!
Max LOVES to play with his dad!
I caught Max doing this and couldn't resist a picture!

I hope they call me on a mission...
...when I have grown a foot or two. My little brother Zac has definately grown and not only in stature, so I guess it is fitting that they have called him on a mission. Zac is going to the Taiwan, Taichung mission (speaking Mandarin). That is definitely not where Clu and I thought he would go. I thought he would go to somewhere like Finland, and Clu said he was going to the North Pole to convert Santa himself.
Zac: We are so proud of you and the choices that you have made. You are a great example to little Max and all those around you. We will miss you, but I am glad to have my room back at Fran and Wayne's (even if it is only for two years). Go forth to Serve!

I can't believe that this kid is old enough to be a missionary!

Max was shot!
Today was shots day at our house. Max was a little behind on shots (because he was sick for his two month shots). Today he received his four months shots and was a real tropper! He only cried while the nurse gave the shots and then he was done. He has been very happy inspite of his "battle/war wounds". Bring it on - I am a tough guy! Your turn Grandpa Snow!

Fall chill
Fall is in the air and thanks to Grandma and Nanny Max is ready. Nanny hooked Max up with a great pair of snow bibs and a 4in1 winter coat (just like daddy's) and Grandma Snow made him this hat (she has such a talent! Max has another hat and sweater on the way). This kid loves his bink!
Do we look a like?
